This Lamborghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole (QV) is a striking example of the most popular and evolved Countach variant. Finished in Nero over Nero leather, this European-spec 5000 QV, powered by a 5.2-liter quad-cam V12 paired with a five-speed manual transmission, offers a classic driving experience with its gated shifter and roaring V12. Equipped with a limited-slip differential, European-style bumpers, scissor doors, and iconic silver-finished 15″ Ruote OZ wheels, this Countach embodies the wild spirit of 1980s supercars.

Sold new in Canada and imported to the U.S. in 2021, this QV now resides in Miami, Florida, showing only 12,000 kilometers (~8,000 miles) on the odometer. It is accompanied by an owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, and a clean CarFAX report.

Launched in 1985, the LP5000 Quattrovalvole introduced Lamborghini’s next-generation V12 engine, featuring a longer stroke and larger bore that pushed power up to 449 horsepower in European carbureted specification. The Euro-spec cars, like this one, boasted six Weber downdraft carburetors, differentiating them from U.S. versions, which were fitted with Bosch fuel injection and less power. U.S.-spec models also came with larger, unsightly rubber bumpers, which many owners have since removed. Euro-spec cars are easy to distinguish by the bulge in the engine cover needed to clear the massive carburetors, whereas U.S. cars had two bulges on either side of the cover for the fuel-injected system.

Though the Quattrovalvole is the best-selling variant of the Countach line, with 631 units produced, it remains a rare and sought-after car. The QV was produced until 1988, when it was succeeded by the 25th Anniversary Edition.

This Nero over Nero leather example, with its European specification and low mileage, represents the pinnacle of the Countach’s development and remains a coveted piece of Lamborghini history.
