More details
Built in 1994 and unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini Diablo SE30 ‘055’ was first delivered to German agent Bob Forstner in Stuttgart on February 10, 1995, this exceptional vehicle had already garnered attention in a press release dated October 4, 1994, proudly heralding Lamborghini’s surge in sales.
This particular SE30 model boasts an exterior finished in the striking Verde Medio (mid-green metallic), paired uniquely with Sabbia, a light sand color, showcasing Lamborghini’s groundbreaking ‘Carte Blanche’ program. The interior, true to SE30 standards, is adorned in Alcantara, featuring black accents on the dash that harmoniously complement the SE30-specific white dials.
After its tenure with Forstner, the SE30 found a new home in the esteemed collection of arch-collector Peter Kaus, proprietor of the renowned Rosso Bianco museum in Aschaffenburg.
In 2014, Kidston SA facilitated the sale of this distinguished SE30 to a world-class Lamborghini enthusiast. Upon acquisition, the car underwent meticulous attention at Carrozzeria Cremonini (€6,161), a renowned paint and bodywork specialist, receiving detailed paintwork, minor repairs, and a professional cleaning of the luxurious Alcantara interior. Simultaneously, Top Motors, led by ex-factory foreman Orazio Salvioli and his son Luca, conducted a comprehensive mechanical inspection (€4,864), including the installation of new rear tires at a cost of €1,500.
Adding a touch of authenticity, legendary factory test driver Valentino Balboni, the mastermind behind the SE30’s development, occasionally took the wheel of this particular masterpiece, savoring the experience in one of his own, truly special cars.
