More details
The Lamborghini Diablo SE30 marked a pivotal moment for the brand in 1994, celebrating its 30th anniversary with a focus on pure performance and weight reduction. Limited to just 150 units, the SE30 was engineered with track-inspired precision.
Power was increased to 523 BHP, thanks to a tuned fuel system, freer-flowing exhaust, and magnesium intake manifolds. Manual adjustable anti-roll bars replaced the VT model's electronic dampers, giving drivers more direct control. The SE30 shed weight wherever possible—power windows gave way to fixed plexiglass with small sliding vents, and conveniences like air conditioning, a stereo, and power steering were removed. Inside, carbon fiber bucket seats with four-point harnesses completed the lightweight package.
Visually, the SE30 introduced subtle yet purposeful changes. The front section was reworked with integrated straked brake cooling ducts. The rear featured a larger wing and repositioned fog and backup lamps integrated into the bumper. Slats in the engine cover aided cooling, while magnesium alloy wheels and SE30-specific badging completed the exterior. The signature metallic lavender (Viola 30th) became closely associated with the model, though Lamborghini offered customization, like this Argento Titanio SE30.
