1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

We recently sold one of the nicest Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary examples we have seen in over 15 years. Un-titled, never registered and show less than 600 original miles. The car sold close to our asking in price in less than 45 days.

I quickly realized that while there were always 3-4 25th Anniversary examples on the market for sale at any point, very few were preserved well or serviced regularly. Good cars were becoming hard to find and they were selling quick.

While the 25th Anniversary was never my favorite example, only about 200 cars were ever imported into the USA and it does mark the pinnacle of the Countach quality, comfort and evolution of production. Many 25th Anniversary examples were poorly stored or abused during the 1990s so I decided to start pursuing the best examples and documenting everything in between.

Within days of selling our car, arguably the next nicest car on the market, a White on Red 2,000 mile example at Crave Luxury sold. Considering this, I knew the hunt would be difficult.

Somehow we got lucky, and within days I got a call about a stunning early production October 1988 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary in Black over Cream. Majority of Countach examples were painted Rosso Siviglia (Red) so I was excited to find a more rare and unique color car and we had to purchase it!

Remarkably the car was purchased by its current owner in 1995 and was sparingly used for over 20 years, registering only 5,500 miles. Always serviced and lovingly cared for the car shows no signs of interior wear on its stunning original leather and still smells like the cars did new!

There is no way to duplicate the smell of the tan, cream or red hides in the original Lamborghini Countach cars and it is something I will never forget.
