More details
The Lamborghini Diablo SE30 JOTA edition is a special variant of the Diablo, designed with racing modifications to meet homologation standards for the Lamborghini Supertrofeo Series and Japanese Grand Touring Series as required by the FIA. This model features numerous enhancements over the standard SE30, making it a rare and high-performance version with only 150 units originally built, and just about 15 converted to JOTA specifications.
The JOTA enhancements include a racing ECU, a unique forced intake and intake manifold system, and special racing cams that increase the power output. It also features unique functional rear hood scoops, a distinct exhaust system, and a 400 km/h speedometer. Externally, the JOTA is distinguished by small “JOTA” badges, extensive ducting vents atop the engine cover, and a return to the pop-up headlights. The car also boasts a dramatically revised snow plow nose which accommodates four additional fog lights and a large rear wing, emphasizing its racing pedigree.
Under the hood, the JOTA modification extracts nearly 600 BHP from its naturally-aspirated V12, 4-valve engine. The car also features fixed suspension, adjustable sway bars, and lightweight plexiglass windows instead of standard glass, all contributing to its track-focused design and performance. Priced at $300,000 when new, the JOTA represents a significant evolution from the standard Diablo SE30, focusing on enhanced speed, handling, and distinctive racing features.
